The ONLY professional govt paid employees paid more than teachers are nurses.

Also grossly underpaid, well below those in the private system
And the only professional non government employees paid less than teachers
are.....

And look at the problems we have in the health dept. The answer is to pay them less, and try to get better professionals, but give them better conditions.

You wouldn't get ANYBODY at all if you paid less. Most people like to eat
now and then.
Why would *better* professionals work for even less?
Anyway, there is still a minimum wage rate. Thankfully the Libs didn't quite
get their way on that one.

I guess your teachers were less than adequate for your special needs though.



    

Pay rate is NOT everything.

But it is *something* if you want to eat and pay rent.
It's obvious you're not a teacher.
